Seriously, anyone that has not played Half Life 2, got to Steam immediately, download, play, Do it!!
No love for Bioshock?
I think this is more a vote for Half Life 2 being the single finest game ever made than it is for Gordon Freeman, who seems pretty bad ass and all, but says absolutely nothing.
Perhaps its the fact that Freeman, feels a little more you??
I love this series, and really SNK in general. I'm glad they still focus on classic arcade style gaming. Its really what differentiates SNK from most current developers.
Sure, I'm sure you sneak on out of the bag ever couple months nobody is the wiser, but Child Please!! Over two thousand!!
Saying that NVIDIA's Fermi is going to surpass the 5870 is just conjecture at this point. Fermi boards missed the mark, NVIDIA's 40nm process is months behind AMD's. The fact is, NVIDIA missed the DirectX 11 launch, its as simple as that.
I have a HIS Radeon 5870. For the budget enthusiast a 5850 is also a great option at $259. Forget consoles, for the true next generation gaming experience you need a machine equipped with a Radeon 58xx series card right now. DirectX 11, extreme ...
The Wii has its place. My home gaming setup is a high end gaming PC for Dad's titles (me), and a Wii for when I play with my wife and kids.
Say what you will about the Wii, but nobody can deny its innovative, and that it's introduced a wider audience to gaming, and that is a good thing.

Check this out. Its a prominent EEEPC developer ripping Linux a new one. Not a good sign I'm afraid.
Come on, everybody knows the real way to experience Call of Duty is on a gaming PC, *prepares flame retardant suit*
If any of the game girls need a place to write, I think I could suggest a site. I'm just sayin.....
Then again, you could just skip the console altogether and just build an amazing gaming PC? Why is the PC left out of the equation?
COD MW2 delay, a rumor so infamous I had no idea it existed!
They advertised the release date on Sunday Night Football for God sakes! I would say that's about as sure as a sure thing gets. Infinity Ward is not ID.
Honestly. I think the thing the future Wii needs to implement is a better system for dealing with all the different controller combination's. Build in Wii motion plus, un-tether the nun chuck and classic controller. I also think they need to embrace a non proprietary wireless standard so I can buy a Guitar Hero kit that I don't need to plug controllers into, a serious pain for me every time I want to play that game with my kid.
I want those things more than I want HD graphics fr...
People are upset with a 9.3 rating? What we should be asking is how Gametrailers had gripes with the content and still more or less gave the game an A rating?
Honestly, this is the first I have seen of this title. It appears to be a Devil may Cry clone, but a good one. I enjoy that type of game from time to time.
You have to give them credit for finding a fresh angle for a WWII game. Just when you think WWII is tapped out, they make it fresh. I have high hopes for this title.
Ninjamonkey,
I don't think your seeing the complete argument. Lets just consider this, you are fresh out of college, you have nothing in your new apartment and you decide to invest in video gaming as a hobby. I know, purely hypothetical, but just to create a level playing field go there with me.
So, you have a budget for things that you will need. Is it reasonable to say that everyone needs a PC of some kind? The console does not replace the functionality of the PC c...
I figured I should drop in and thank everyone for the amazing discussion. I admit that PC is my platform of choice. I like the consoles as well, but I feel like they have cannibalized the PC gaming market to a certain degree in a way that has robbed it of some of its innovation. Now with reasonable pricing for PC its a great time to re discover PC gaming.
Also the AMD 770/780/785/790 chip sets have all been really solid solutions on that platform. Those that remember Nvidia's foray into the chipset market started on AMD platforms before AMD started its own chipset development. Via was the huge player in that market then, when the Nforce first came along it was a revolutionary product on AMD's platforms. With the focus now on AMD integrated platform solutions after the ATI purchase, it left Nvidia the odd man out. Intel squeezing Nvidia on the ...
Another reminder why I game on PC.
